Curious about kefir? Join us for an evening exploring this ancient, living drink—gently tangy, endlessly adaptable, and quietly brilliant for your gut. We’ll demystify kefir, show you how easy it is to make at home, and share why it’s been part of food cultures around the world for centuries.
This is a relaxed, hands-on workshop focused on fermentation, flavour, and friendly bacteria (the good kind).

Guided preparation of kefir from grains to bottle
An introduction to milk kefir and water kefir
How fermentation works (without getting too science-y)
Tips for flavouring, second ferments, and daily use
Stories and traditions of fermented drinks from around the world
A sociable evening with shared food and conversation
Kefir grains and bottles to take home and keep alive
No prior fermentation experience needed—just curiosity and an open mind.
🥄 Evening Line-Up:
6:45 PM – Doors open & bar ready
7:00 PM – Prompt start & introduction (with a focus on Life)
7:15 PM – Shared supper with your fellow ferment fans
7:45 PM – Hands-on kefir making
9:00 PM – Bottle, label & head home with your bubbling brew
