This is an evening for heat lovers, flavour chasers, and the curious. Join Matt form Darkfire Hot sauce, where we’ll explore the dark, smoky, fermented world of hot sauceβ€”where fire transforms humble ingredients into something bold, complex, and alive.

From deep-roasted chillies to slow-building heat and balanced acidity, this workshop is about understanding spice, respecting fire, and creating sauces that go far beyond β€œjust hot.”

✨ What to expect:

  • Guided preparation of hot sauce from raw ingredients to bottle

  • A look at chillies, heat levels, fermentation, and balance

  • Techniques for building depth using smoke, sweetness, acid, and spice

  • Stories, traditions, and rituals around fire and spice

  • A shared dinner designed to complement and showcase heat

  • Bottles of your own hot sauce to take home

Whether you’re a chilli obsessive or new to the world of spice, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of heat, a bottle of sauce made by your own hands, and a full belly.
