Join us for a hands-on workshop where we’ll dive into the art of beetroot pickling—transforming earthy beets into vibrant jars of ruby-red flavour to brighten your festive table. This isn’t just about preserving beetroot; it’s about preserving tradition, laughter, and togetherness.

Guided preparation of beetroot from start to jar
Stories, history, and folklore around beetroot and traditional preserving
Tips for flavouring your jars with herbs, spices, and aromatics that complement beetroot
Community, conversation, and jars to take home and enjoy
Whether you’re a pickling pro or a curious beginner, this workshop will send you home with jars full of bold beetroot flavour, practical know-how, and the satisfaction of having made something by hand.

7:00 PM – Prompt start & intro (with a focus on Water)
7:15 PM – Shared feast with your fellow pickle people!
7:45 PM – Hands on pickling
9:00 PM – Label your jars & head home with your creation!
